It being a film based around the idea of football it stereotypically makes you think it's aimed towards men. It could also be aimed towards older females with relationship problems. The films dialogue and cultural references appeal to a British audience because firstly it is set in a British location which only British people can relate too. Also they all have some sort of British accent, and support British football teams which are clearly more popular within Britain. There is also a cultural reference to Eric Cantona who is French with French people. The characters are represented in a stereotypical way by having large men always at the pub or teenagers who are always drinking and involved in crime danger. What hints a typical film four storyline is that it faces some modern say realistic problems which people in the class he is placed in have to deal with on a day to day basis.

In this film you have many different types of school kids shown and each a portrayed in a certain way. The representation of places show the countryside and this is apparent by the accents in the film. The British cultural references are by the local places they visit in the film and also the school life because school life in Britain is typically different to school like in america. The hints of typical film four storyline are not so obvious in this film compared to others, because its main theme is love and romance and this is something that it not showed in the majority of film four films.

The film four ideology created in this film is shown through the characters, places and references. The characters in this film are represented as stereotypically Muslim terrorist. The representations shown here help to create a thought in your mind of what terrorist should be. The representations of places in here ties in with the accents. In the trailer they are shown to go abroad to a training camp. This helps to create an idea in our head of what really goes on when terrorist do that. It also links a certain race to a stereotype. British cultural references in this would be the area that they are from the dialect use and some of the characters that are placed in the film. This is more of a film four film because it targets a more realistic storyline and it based on some true things and beliefs.
